The People of Ho have an answered prayer.

To increase the seamless travel by air in Ghana, Ho Airport has been added to the number of airports in Ghana. The airport is situated in Ho, Volta Region.

This initiative comes to boost the inflow of tourists into the region as they have rich Ghanaian cultures and a lot of tourist sites to showcase. This will also make transportation to the region a bit easy as there will be many options to choose from.

Not only would they have options to choose from but also job opportunities for the people of Ho and its environment and Volta Region at large.

When the Ho Airport was announced ready for flights to land safely, Africa World Airlines was the first to make a simulation flight into the airport. Following that, PassionAir also did same. Currently, there are only two domestic airlines operating in Ghana.
